It’s NFL Playoff time, and with that comes my annual post showing the forty-nine possible matchups we could see for the upcoming Super Bowl.

First, some Google friendlies.

Super Bowl LVII will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday, February 12, 2023, the first held in Arizona since Super Bowl XLIX in 2015. Rihanna will perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and the game will be broadcast in the United States on Fox. The league alternates which conference champion will serve as the home team for the neutral-site Super Bowl; for Super Bowl LVII, the NFC Champion will be the home team.

There, all done.

Here’s a look at all 49 possible Super Bowl LVII matchups as we kickoff (football pun!) the 2022 NFL Playoffs:

A dozen of the 49 possible matchups are Super Bowl rematches, which (quick math) is almost a quarter.

POSSIBLE SUPER BOWL REMATCHES
Dallas Cowboys vs Buffalo Bills
Dallas Cowboys vs Miami Dolphins
Minnesota Vikings vs Kansas City Chiefs
Minnesota Vikings vs Miami Dolphins
New York Giants vs Baltimore Ravens
New York Giants vs Buffalo Bills
San Francisco 49ers vs Baltimore Ravens
San Francisco 49ers vs Cincinnati Bengals
San Francisco 49ers vs Kansas City Chiefs
San Francisco 49ers vs Los Angeles (San Diego) Chargers
San Francisco 49ers vs Miami Dolphins
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Kansas City Chiefs

There are also a few possible rivalry games here — the California Bowl between Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Florida Bowl between either Miami or Jacksonville and Tampa Bay, there’s the Ace Ventura Bowl between Philadelphia and Miami, the “Old West” Bowl between the Cowboys and Chiefs, and quite possibly my favourite, the 0-for-4ever Bowl between Minnesota and Buffalo.

I’ll update this as the Playoffs proceed. Share your preferred Super Bowl matchups in the comments below, and if I missed an interesting pairing, please share it with the class!

LATEST UPDATE!
