With less than two weeks until the 2023 NBA Draft, New Era has released the hat designs for all 30 teams, highlighted by the San Antonio Spurs, who are widely expected to select French phenom Victor Wembanyama with the No. 1 overall pick.
The base of the hats are each team’s primary color and feature their primary logo on the front. Behind that is a single outline version of each team’s full wordmark in a lighter shade of the primary color, creating a sublimated look on each cap.
The brim and squatchee are the same color as the crown, which is complete with the New Era flag on the left side and the NBA logo on the back. It’s the simplest design for the event since 2015, when adidas only put primary logos on the front and under the bill and wordmarks on the back.
The 2023 NBA Draft will be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday, June 22. The first round will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN, though the latter will exclusively show the second round.
