Characterized as a dystopian thriller set in a near-future America, the A24 film features Kirsten Dunst and Wagner Moura as war correspondents, as well as actor Nick Offerman as an authoritarian president who initiates airstrikes on civilians.
Directed and written by Alex Garland, Civil War is currently receiving top honors on the video-on-demand charts, leading as #1 on iTunes. This project was produced by Gregory Goodman, Allan Reich, and Andrew Macdonald.

Where to Watch Civil War Online
Available as of May 24, Civil War can be streamed on Prime Video, Apple TV+, Google Play and Fandango.

Roughly six weeks after its release in theaters on April 12, Civil War is now accessible for home viewing through video-on-demand platforms such as Prime Video and Apple iTunes for $19.99 to rent, and $24.99 to buy and stream from anywhere.
For those who choose to watch it on demand via Prime Video, keep in mind “rentals include 30 days to start watching this movie and 48 hours to finish once started.”
When Will Civil War Be Available on Max?
The release date for Civil War on HBO Max has not been announced yet. According to Decider, they predict it could come out on Max around late August or early September 2024. If you’d like to plan ahead and see all your favorites, from reality shows to drama and action series, you can access Max on Prime Video, Hulu and Verizon Fios.
