One of the major reasons Reese was originally drawn to Reebok as a brand was the lack of a female basketball player as the face of the brand, which surfaced in a video that was posted on X.

“So many different shoe companies wanted to work with me,” Reese said in the video. “But I chose Reebok. What was it about Reebok? One, they didn’t have a women’s basketball player [as] a face. So I wanted to be that.”

The pro athlete has also gained attention for her most recent headlining-making ejection after catching two two technical fouls for disagreeing with an official, during a recent WNBA game. But as Reese as said in interviews, it’s all just a part of the game.
