Megan Thee Stallion has become an honorary member of a major girl group — but it’s not within the music industry. On Wednesday (Oct. 23), the 29-year-old made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she also debuted her own jersey for WNBA‘s New York Liberty.

The “Savage” rapper immediately took to X to share her photos of her experience including a shot with some of the teammates while she held up her merch. While the artist is originally from Austin, Texas, she wasn’t shy to show her support for the 2024 champions, even performing her viral “Mamushi” dance with the teammates.

NY Liberty made history this year winning their first-ever championship against the Minnesota Lynx. The night of firsts didn’t end there though as it was also the only time a winner-takes-all overtime game has occurred in WNBA history, according to NBC New York.
