The road to Super Bowl LIX kicks off this weekend with the NFL Playoffs and while Snoop Dogg’s Pittsburgh Steelers will look to punch their ticket to New Orleans, the West Coast rap legend will already be in the Big Easy Super Bowl weekend.
The NFL tapped Snoop Dogg to play host for the 2025 NFL Honors presented by Invisalign slated for Feb. 6, which will highlight the best the 2024 season had to offer.
The 14th annual award show will air on FOX and NFL Network live from the Saenger Theater in New Orleans at 9 p.m. ET. A red carpet pre-show is set for 8 p.m. ET.
In addition to awards like the AP MVP, AP Defensive Player of the Year and AP Comeback Player of the Year, Snoop will help hand out prestigious honors such as the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year while also revealing the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
The award show is also set to livestream on NFL+. Saturday (Jan. 11) marks the start of the journey for 14 teams looking to lift the elusive Lombardi Trophy come Feb. 9 in New Orleans.
It’s a loaded wildcard weekend slate with six games in total as the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions will be resting with a bye week. Snoop’s Steelers head to Baltimore Saturday night for a match-up with their vaunted AFC North division rival Ravens, which will be streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime.
With Snoop in town for Super Bowl week, he might as well hang around for the game no matter who’s playing. His “nephew” Kendrick Lamar is set to headline the 2025 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show and he’s sure to deliver an epic performance for those in attendance at the Caesars Superdome.
Tune into the 2025 NFL Honors on Feb. 6 at 9 p.m. ET.
