Exclusive Interview with Christian K

Today we linked up with Christian K for an exclusive interview:
What is still your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge is staying spiritually fed while constantly pouring into others. When you’re in ministry through music, podcasting, and public speaking, people expect you to always be “on.” But I’m human. I get tired. I still battle thoughts, temptation, and burnout. Sometimes I have to remind myself that even Jesus withdrew to pray and recharge. I’ve learned that I can’t minister from an empty cup. I have to protect my peace, prioritize my time with God, and say “no” sometimes to say “yes” to my own growth.
What do you want your legacy to be? How do you want to be remembered?
I want to be remembered as someone who made people feel seen, healed, and closer to God through raw truth. Not just as a Christian podcaster , but as a man who stood for something in a world full of compromise. I want my legacy to be tied to impact, not just streams or awards. When people mention Christian K, I want them to say, “That man kept it real, stayed faithful, and helped me see that God could still use someone like me.”
What is your stage name and how did you come up with it?
My stage name is Christian K. It came during a season of rededication in my life. I was trying to balance who I was, who I used to be, and who God was calling me to become. “Christian” represents the new me—the spiritual side, the renewed walk with God, the mission. “K” is short for my real name, but it also symbolizes the part of me that had to go through some real situations—temptations, trauma, and tests—to become who I am now. Together, Christian K represents both the man and the mission: bold faith and raw testimony
Talk me through your creative process.
My creative process is spiritual and intentional. I don’t just go and sit in front of the microphone because I have time. I wait for a moment, an experience, or a Word from God. Sometimes it starts with a scripture or a conversation I had that stuck with me. I’ll sit with the beat and let God minister to me first. I might write a few lines and leave it alone until I feel led to finish. Other times, I freestyle and let the Holy Spirit guide the flow. But no matter what, I want every line to hit with purpose. I want people to feel God, feel truth, and still feel like, “Man, this dude been through some things.”
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received about your Podcast?
One person told me, “Your podcast helped me come back to God after I gave up on church.” That hit me hard because that’s exactly why I do what I do. I’m not trying to sound like the next anyone or fit in with a trend. I’m trying to reach the ones who feel overlooked, judged, or too broken to be loved by God. If my podcast can break through those walls and restore someone’s faith, that’s the real win.
Why did you first start your podcast?
I started The Christian K Podcast because I was tired of seeing people especially young adults struggling silently. I knew what it felt like to be called by God but still battling temptations, soul ties, insecurities, and sin. Church taught me how to shout, but it didn’t always teach me how to survive real-life spiritual warfare. I needed a space where I could be raw, real, and redeemed all at once. This podcast became that safe space not just for me, but for everyone who ever felt overlooked, misunderstood, or too broken to be used by God. I wanted to bridge the gap between faith and transparency. I talk about the stuff most people are afraid to say out loud lust, purpose, pain, healing, deliverance, and the process of becoming who God called you to be. The mic gave me more than a platform it gave me a purpose. Now I use my voice to remind people that being “set apart” doesn’t mean being perfect… it means being willing. And if God could use me, He can use anybody listening too.
What’s the best advice you ever received?
The best advice I ever got was: “ stay humble and keep God 1st”. That stuck with the me because I have to remember that I’m doing this for God. I’m not doing it for the money , fame , or recognition, my goal is to bring as many people towards God as possible. When God returns I want to all of us to make it into heaven.
