To start with what is already one of the biggest team-ups of the year, the BLACKPINK star has released her latest single, “Born Again,” featuring a heavy lift from two all-star collaborators. The “Paint the Town Red” rapper and “Escapism” singer bring their A-game as guests on LISA’s disco-tinged pop track, which comes ahead of her highly anticipated debut solo album, Alter Ego, while the K-pop star channels luxurious confidence as the lead: “I would’ve made you a believer/ Would’ve showed you what it’s like,” she sings.
The track is just one of many collaborations unleashed this week, though, with Cardi B and Pardison Fontaine also getting together to finally release “Toot It Up,” a chest-puffing, danceable rap anthem that swaggers over a sample of Nas’ “Made You Look.” Lil Wayne also jumped on a remix of Gelo’s “Tweaker,” while DJ Dom Dolla and Daya got in the studio together for “Dreamin.’”
Plus, Anitta is already diving into a new era following 2024’s Funk Generation, showing off her skillful vocals on a head-bopping new single titled “Romeo.” Rema also has a new song out called “Baby (Is It a Crime),” which finds the Nigerian superstar making Sade’s “Is It a Crime” his own.
It’s no easy task to choose just one, but Billboard still wants to know: Which new music release is your favorite this week? Tell us by casting your vote below.
