EXCLUSIVE: Cardi B Settles $110K Fee Fight With Tasha K For Just $60,000

Cardi B settles Tasha K’s $110K legal fee fight for $60,000, but her husband and companies guarantee the debt.
Cardi B is settling for a fraction of the $110,000 legal bill she tried to stick Tasha K with, and she’s making sure three other people share the risk if the blogger misses a payment.
A stipulation signed on June 30 by Chief Judge Scott M. Grossman in Florida’s bankruptcy court reduces the dispute to a $60,000 settlement, split into two installments. Tasha K’s husband and two of her companies signed on as guarantors, which means they’re personally on the hook if she falls behind.
The fee fight dates back to a May contempt ruling after Tasha K, real name Latasha Kebe, kept talking about Cardi’s ex-husband, Offset, despite a non-disparagement clause in her bankruptcy repayment plan, as previously reported by AllHipHop.
Cardi’s attorneys billed more than $110,000 for over a year of monitoring Tasha’s posts across seven platforms and preparing the paperwork to drag her back into court. A chunk of that bill came from cleaning up after Tasha’s own lawyer, Chad Van Horn, filed a brief with fabricated case citations that Cardi’s team called hallucinated.
The fee dispute is the latest chapter in a fight that started in 2019, when Cardi B sued Tasha K over videos accusing her of drug use, STDs and prostitution. A jury awarded Cardi nearly $4 million in 2022, and Tasha K’s bankruptcy restructured that debt into a $1.2 million payment plan tied to the gag order she kept breaking.
Under the new settlement, Tasha K owes $30,000 within 28 days of the order and another $30,000 by December 31, 2026.
Her husband, Cheickna Kebe, along with her companies, Quetal LLC and Stash Media Works LLC, guaranteed the payments, and the order states that if she defaults, the full $110,115.76 becomes immediately due against her and all three guarantors.
Van Horn’s personal sanction survived the settlement untouched, and he still owes Cardi $2,231.84 personally within 28 days, separate from anything his client pays.
The order also makes clear it doesn’t touch Cardi’s other pending lawsuit against Tasha’s company, Yelen Entertainment, which accuses her of hiding assets through fraudulent transfers, according to TMZ.
The underlying gag order stays fully in effect, so Tasha K still can’t publicly discuss Cardi B, Offset or Stefon Diggs while she pays down the settlement.
