Keith Webster faces up to seven years in prison after allegedly ramming his Subaru through Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s East Hampton security gate.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s East Hampton estate was hit by a serious security breach, and now the guy responsible is about to face the music.
Keith Webster, a 63-year-old Bronx resident, drove his green 2026 Subaru through the mechanical security barrier on July 17, at a high speed.
The crash caused significant property damage estimated at over $1,500.
The incident unfolded around 12:50 P.M. ET, when security personnel monitoring surveillance feeds spotted the vehicle approaching at a dangerous speed before impact.

According to ABC News, the criminal complaint detailed the entire sequence of events from the security guard’s perspective.
He watched the car strike the gate and continue onto the grounds, then immediately alerted his partner and rushed to intercept the vehicle.
Once the driver came to a stop, security personnel held the car door closed to prevent the occupant from exiting until police arrived on scene.
Webster was detained by the private security team until East Hampton Village Police took custody of him.
The charges Webster faces carry serious legal consequences.
He’s been hit with second-degree criminal mischief, a felony offense, along with third-degree criminal trespass.
In New York, second-degree criminal mischief convictions typically result in prison sentences ranging from 1 to 7 years, depending on the circumstances and prior criminal history.
For property damage exceeding $1,500, prosecutors often seek maximum penalties to send a message about the severity of such violations.
Webster entered a not-guilty plea at his initial appearance and is scheduled to return to court on July 29, 2026.
Judge Steven Tekulsky issued a temporary restraining order that prevents Webster from contacting Jay-Z or Beyoncé or approaching their property under any circumstances.
The order represents a standard protective measure in cases involving potential threats to celebrity residences and their occupants.
