YNE Sosa’s days as a secret federal witness are over after protected court docs hit YouTube and spread across social media.
YNE Sosa is a marked man now that confidential court records outing him as a government witness have leaked online and gone viral.
Court documents sealed under a judge’s protective order hit YouTube this week, racking up 50,000 views before the video got pulled.
The Baltimore rapper, born Keith Ambush, was a secret cooperating witness in a major murder-for-hire case.

Someone apparently printed the protected documents and passed them outside the defense team, which was the only group authorized to see them. Social media went crazy calling Sosa a snitch, and prosecutors moved for an emergency hearing the same day.
According to the Baltimore Banner, Sosa was set to testify against Cornell Moore and Keith Brian Russell in a federal investigation called “Fallen Angel.”
The pair, both 40, face charges tied to as many as 19 shootings and homicides around Baltimore between 2020 and 2022, and Russell already caught a conviction on a related homicide in Baltimore County.
Judge Robert Taylor Jr. addressed the courtroom Friday and wasn’t playing.
“This is very upsetting to me. I issued the protective order for a reason,” the judge said. “People get killed over things like this.”
Defense attorneys Natalie Finegar and Brandon Taylor both denied leaking anything, and prosecutors say they’re now actively investigating the source of the breach.
Before all this caught up with him, Sosa was building a real name in Hip-Hop. He’s from Gilmor Homes on Baltimore’s West Side, the same neighborhood where Freddie Gray was arrested in 2015, and he grew up a personal friend of Gray’s.
He didn’t start rapping until November 2017, but moved fast once he did. His single “Ball Together” caught heavy radio rotation, and his YouTube catalog stacks up millions of views collectively, with one video clearing 400,000 on its own.
He shared a stage with NBA YoungBoy and was widely regarded as one of Baltimore’s most promising rising rappers before his legal troubles intervened.
Sosa, 30, is currently sitting in an Alabama jail on a separate drug case while the Fallen Angel trial plays out around him.
The man who posted the original video, Baltimore native Sean Mosley, told reporters Sosa “could’ve saved some lives” but is only cooperating because his “back is against the wall.”
The trial for Moore and Russell is now set for January 2027.
