Brandi Carlile has postponed the UK and European leg of her tour, citing “personal circumstances,” the singer-songwriter announced on social media Friday (Aug. 7).
The run, originally set to begin in October, has been pushed to March 2027. Carlile did not specify the reason beyond describing it as a personal matter.

“I have been so profoundly anxious about this decision, and I’m aware that this change may be disappointing and inconvenient for many of you, especially those of you who were planning on traveling internationally,” she wrote, adding that she hoped the rescheduling would give fans time to adjust their plans. “I want nothing more than to see my friends across the pond and I have done everything in my power to avoid rescheduling this tour.”
The postponement affects several dates. Carlile’s Lisbon show has been canceled outright, while two new dates in Wolverhampton, England, and Copenhagen have been added.
Refunds will be issued to Lisbon ticket holders, and fans holding tickets to England shows that have changed venues will be offered full refunds along with priority presale access to the new dates.
The postponement does not affect the U.S. leg of the tour, which is scheduled to begin next week in Maine. The trek supports Returning to Myself, Carlile’s eighth studio album, released in October 2025.
The Ravensdale, Washington, native has become one of the most decorated artists in Americana over the past decade. Her 2018 breakthrough By the Way, I Forgive You earned six Grammy nominations — including Album, Record and Song of the Year — and won three, with “The Joke” taking Best American Roots Song and Best American Roots Performance.
Her 2021 follow-up In These Silent Days debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums and Americana/Folk Albums charts and reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200; the album gave Carlile the most Top Rock Albums No. 1s of any solo woman in the chart’s history. A multiple Grammy winner and frequent collaborator with artists including Joni Mitchell and Elton John, she also co-founded the country supergroup the Highwomen, whose 2019 debut topped Billboard’s country albums chart.
