Becca Hatch, Lewis Love Tapped For Spotify’s RADAR Program

Becca Hatch and Lewis Love are enjoying the RADAR treatment.

Hatch, the rising R&B artist of Kamilaroi and Samoan heritage, and Love, the country-leaning Australian singer-songwriter, are the latest acts from Australia and New Zealand tapped for Spotify’s global emerging artist program.

The announcement this week comes ahead of Hatch’s new EP Black Flower (via G.Y.R.O.), due out Feb. 3, 2027, and Love’s forthcoming album, his first through a new label deal with EMPIRE.

Hatch is coming off a hot run. In 2024, she was invited by Coldplay to perform her original verse on “We Pray” across two sold-out shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium, and collected the 2024 NIMA Award for best breakthrough artist.

Then, in 2025, she was awarded the APRA Professional Development Award. She can add an ARIA Award to her growing collection, with a best soul / R&B nomination for her 2026 cut Garden (Bang Goes the Drum), and she’s named as ambassador for Support Act’s Aus Music T-Shirt Day fundraising campaign, which returns Nov. 26. A fourth track has dropped from Black Flower, “Extra Time.”

Over the next six months, both artists can expect to receive cross-platform support across Spotify’s editorial, marketing, and live events, including playlist covers, on-platform takeovers, social and editorial pushes and more.

Previous RADAR artists from these parts include Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Blusher, Genesis Owusu, Larissa Lambert, Baker Boy, and Royel Otis, all of whom have gone on to receive nods for this year’s ARIAs.

“I’m so grateful to Spotify for making me a RADAR artist,” adds Love. “I’m really excited for the whole world to hear what we’ve been working on.”

To launch their RADAR promotions, both artists were the subject of billboard promos on Bourke Street in central Melbourne, from Friday, Sept. 25 to Sunday, Sept. 27.

Launched globally in 2020, RADAR AUNZ has served as a launchpad for local talent, and driving over 47 million discoveries, according to the streaming giant.
