Forest Hills Garden Corporation, West Side Tennis Club and Tiebreaker Productions, LLC (which operates Forest Hills Stadium) announced on Wednesday (Oct. 21) they have reached a settlement agreement that resolves pending litigation and allows for the venue to continue hosting concerts.
The agreement allows for Forest Hills Stadium to host up to 28 concerts per season, with 29 concerts during renewal terms; financial support for the neighborhood with Tiebreaker providing payments to the Forest Hills Garden Corporation that include a one-time upfront payment and per-show payments; and designated routes for attendees to enter and exit meant to minimize how much concertgoers walk through the neighborhood. The agreement puts a voluntary end to all pending lawsuits between Forest Hills Garden Corporation, which is the local homeowners association, West Side Tennis Club and Tiebreaker Productions, LLC.

“Forest Hills Stadium’s commitment to the neighborhood of Forest Hills Gardens, the borough of Queens, and the entirety of New York City informs everything we do,” Tiebreaker Productions said in a statement. “First and foremost, we strive to be a good neighbor by hosting unique music and cultural events that create a positive economic impact, all while serving the neighborhood’s ethos through partnerships, local sponsors, and sharing the use of our physical space for fundraisers and children’s events. The Club, the Gardens and the Stadium are each more than a century old, and together, share a deep interest in stewarding and protecting these precious pieces of New York City history; to maintain what came before us, to enhance our relationship with the current community, and to ensure the future of these important entities. This agreement preserves the Stadium’s future and directly supports the neighborhood we are so lucky to call home. The Tiebreaker team also appreciates the enduring support and efforts by our Borough president Donovan Richards.”
Soon after Forest Hills Stadium was revamped and reopened, lawsuits from the venue’s local residents pertaining to noise complaints started rolling in. The venue’s 2025 season was put in jeopardy with reports that the NYPD had revoked the venue’s permits due to noise complaints from residential neighbors. However, the venue was able to continue with its 2025 season without any hiccups.
“For the first time in years, the Forest Hills Gardens community has clear, enforceable protections for how the Stadium operates — a firm limit on the number of shows, a strict curfew, fireworks only with neighborhood approval, and meaningful financial payments,” the Forest Hills Gardens Corporation’s board of directors said in a statement. “We are very happy that we were able to reach a settlement. With the divisiveness of the lawsuits now behind us, we look forward to building a constructive working relationship with the Stadium and are proud to usher in this new chapter for our community.”
The one-time payment will support restoration and beautification projects in the neighborhood, while the per-show payments will support the Forest Hills Garden Corporation.
“This agreement is an important step forward for The West Side Tennis Club and our neighbors,” the board of governors for The West Side Tennis Club said in a statement. “For more than a century, the Club has been part of the fabric of Forest Hills, bringing generations of members together through tennis and welcoming visitors from around the world to the Stadium for historic moments in sports and music. Reaching this resolution took patience and constructive dialogue from all sides. We are grateful to our members as well as the Forest Hills community for their patience and engagement throughout this process. We look forward to building on this work in support of our membership, the Stadium’s continued success and the benefit of the neighborhood we are proud to call home.”
Bowery Presents, a subsidiary of AEG, has booked the venue since 2017.
