When it comes to performing, Miley Cyrus always goes big — and it looks like her appearance on Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman will be no exception.
In a clip from her upcoming episode — premiering Wednesday on the streamer — Cyrus is holding court in a dimly lit performance space, where she explains her terms for appearing on the Letterman-hosted show.

“You were going to introduce me, but I’m going to introduce you,” Cyrus says to Letterman. “David Letterman is here. In true spirit, David Letterman asked me to be on his show, but I like to do things my own way. And so I turned it around on him and said, ‘You can be in my show.’ So this is my show.”
Cyrus then gives herself a challenge before performing an unnamed song — possibly her record of the year Grammy-winning 2023 hit “Flowers.”
“How extra do you think I can be on this round of the song? Should I try to be, like, as extra as I can?” she asks the crowd, to resounding “yes” cries. “OK!” she promises.
We’ll have to wait until Wednesday to see what song she pulls out, and fans will also be able to see her full sit-down interview with Letterman on the show too. In a trailer released last month, Cyrus tells the host: “My biggest fear used to be getting fired, and now how good does that sound? Every time someone’s like, ‘Oh, they might kick you — maybe they don’t want you to do this anymore.’ I’m like, ‘Thank God!’”
Watch the new clip below, and check out her full appearance via Netflix on Wednesday.
