Ari Lennox is teaming up with KISS Colors & Care for a new partnership announced Tuesday (Sept. 3).
“I am excited to partner with KISS Colors & Care, a brand that truly understands and meets the unique needs of textured hair,” the Grammy-nominated singer said in a statement. “Representation and diversity in beauty are incredibly important to me, especially since Black women are often overlooked in the industry. KISS Colors & Care celebrates self-expression and creativity, and I believe everyone should feel empowered to be their true selves. Through this collaboration, I’m eager to celebrate natural beauty and inspire others to embrace their own with confidence.”
The collaboration highlights KISS Color & Care’s bestselling Edge Fixer Extreme Hold Gel ($8.99) and Edge Fixer Wax Stick ($7.99).
According to a press release sent to Billboard, the partnership furthers the brand’s commitment to “catering to the needs” of textured hair.
“We are proud to welcome Ari Lennox as KISS Colors & Care’s newest partner as our brand continues to celebrate the diversity and versatility of textured hair. Known for her soulful music and natural beauty, Ari Lennox embodies the spirit of authenticity and self-expression that KISS Colors & Care champions,” said Jennifer Clark, the company’s director of marketing. “We take pride in offering tools that empower our customers to nurture and style their hair with confidence. Together, we aim to inspire women of color to embrace their individuality and express themselves unapologetically through their unique style.”
KISS Color & Care’s Edge Fixer Extreme is designed for 4C hair and available in mango and a fragrance-free version. The Edge Fixer Wax Stick offers up to 24-hours of oil -free, flake-free hold and it’s infused with Biotin B7 to help strengthen hair. The wax stick is ideal for laying edges, but also for a slick bun and other sleek designs, and tackling wayward fly aways.
