Although they started off as mock interviews with politicians and celebrities, Randy eventually showed off his singing abilities in parody music videos based on Broadway tunes and pop hits. Typically focusing his fire on Republican politicians, Rainbow has gone after major names, including Ted Cruz, Lindsay Graham and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
But to this day, Rainbow has one person he loves to hate on the most: former U.S. president Donald J. Trump. Whether he’s going after his performance in a presidential debate with Hillary Clinton or shaming his attempt to overturn the 2020 election on Jan. 6, Rainbow has made a habit out of lampooning Trump for his ongoing controversies in U.S. politics.
In an interview with Billboard, Rainbow revealed that part of why he makes fun of the former president as often as he does is simply due to his pattern of speech. “When Trump was in office — and I’m sure there will be more Trump material in the next couple of months or years or whatever — he was always just very specific in the phrases he’d come out with,” Rainbow said. “He’d speak in song titles, as did everyone in his administration, and there was really no guesswork.”
In honor of the viral comedian’s hilarious parody videos, here are 49 times Randy Rainbow has read the 45th President of the United States for filth, from the start of his 2016 presidential campaign to today.
