Today we had an exclusive chance to interview the upcoming artist, Madam Tammy
What is your stage name and how did you come up with it?
My name is Madam Tammy, I always looked at myself as a player so of course a Madam would fit me perfectly, but everyone call me Tammy so I put it together.
Where are you from?
South Side of Chicago
Why did you start making music?
I have always been a fan of music, but people kept telling me I had a great voice so I started writing in my journal until I came up with my first song “ Rule #1”
Who do people say you sound like?
Well most people say I Sound like Glorilla and Megan Thee Stallion. But I heard fans on TikTok say I have my own sound.
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received about your music?
I been told that I have bars and that I will get even better as I continue my rap career.
If you can open a show for any artist who would it be?
Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj and Eve would be my choices, because I feel like all of them are great performers.
What is the name of your latest release?
I just released my new single “ Rule 1 “ on January 18, 2023. The song has over 40,000 streams on Spotify within 3 weeks.
Do you have any children?
No I don’t have any children, so that wont be a problem for me while I’m on the road on tour.
What’s the first thing you would buy after signing a big major record deal?
I would definitely invest into a gentleman club, that has one floor with male dancers and another floor with female dancers.
