Blige joined forces with Giuseppe Zanotti for her very first boot collaboration, released on Sunday (May 12). The Mary J Blige statement boot ($1,295) is inspired by the custom boots that Blige wore to her Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit. The slouchy over-the knee boot features reflective, rose gold and are available in women’s sizes 6-12.
According to the product description, Blige co-designed the statement boot, which “encapsulates the unique and celebrated styles” of the R&B icon and Giuseppe Zanotti.
She announced the collaboration during the 2024 Strength of a Woman Festival in New York on Saturday (May 11). “The Mary J. Blige boot is officially in the universe,” she says in a video after the concert. “Everybody’s been asking for it. The announcement was made on stage while I was wearing [them] with a f—ing fire outfit.”
Blige’s Strength of a Woman Tour Festival & Summit, hosted by The Breakfast Club co-host/comedian Jess Hilarious and entertainment journalist Gia Peppers, takes place from May 11-12 at Barclays Center in New York. The Mother’s Day Weekend event featured performances from Blige, 50 Cent, Jill Scott, Fat Joe, Jadakiss and Lola Brooke. The Clark Sisters will headline on Sunday (get tickets here.)
The “Good Morning Gorgeous” singer can now add boots to her growing brand, which includes Sun Goddess Wine, her Mary Can! children’s book and jewelry collaboration with Simone I. Smith.
