Chappell Roan has been experiencing an explosion of success this year becoming a Billboard Hot 100 first-timer with her single “Good Luck Babe” as well as being one of four women to land in the top five of the Billboard 200 albums chart in more than a year (in addition to Megan Thee Stallion, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish). Besides having a magnetic singing voice, Roan has captivated fans with her makeup looks and style choices — including a pair of punk chic boots from Steve Madden she recently showed off.
The 26-year-old presented a more grunge-aesthetic during a teaser on Thursday (July 10) for her upcoming guest appearance on influencer Drew Afualo’s podcast, The Comment Section. The full outfit featured a rainbow skirt from Chopova Lowena and a Musinsa top (as reported by Chappell Roan fashion blogger @chappellroanstyle), portraying a more relaxed look than what she wore on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. ShopBillboard couldn’t help but zero-in on the “Casual” singer’s shoe choice though: a popular pair of Steve Madden boots that are still in stock.

Astor Black Leather Boots
Steve Madden’s Astor Black Leather Boots come with a pebbled leather texture decorated with buckles on the heels and top hem-line, which you can adjust to your liking. The sleeve of the boots come designed with a slight slouch for a more loose and casual look you can pair with anything from skirts to jeans to shorts.
Reviewers are blown away over how comfortable the cowboy boots are, with many claiming they “didn’t get any blisters” even after wearing them all day. While Chappell wore them to her podcast appearance, we can totally picture the singer taking these to her next music festival appearance as well. The vibe is punk rock-meets-country and works for a variety of looks and occasions.
Chappell is the latest singer to don Steve Madden boots — Beyonce wore a pair of denim-inspired boots from the brand this spring. And Madison Beer is a fan of the brand’s shoes as well, having been pictured in them on multiple occasions.
And, if you’re interested in the top she wore, you can find it at Musinsa for $128 or shop the look below.
Hug Your Skin – Puckering Bolero Windshell
The cropped top brings a simple yet luxurious feel featuring a semi-sheer material that’s lightweight and comes with a more fitted design. The back has an attached hood that’ll help protect your hair from wind and rain.
