Billboard’s Cast Albums chart ranks the top-selling cast recordings of the week in the U.S., based on traditional album sales, according to data tracking firm Luminate. The Oct. 12-dated list reflects the tracking week ending Oct. 3.

Suffs, about the American women’s suffrage movement, garnered six Tony Award nominations at this year’s show, winning two trophies: best book of a musical (Shaina Taub) and original score (music and/or lyrics) written for the theatre (Taub). The show was originally staged off-Broadway at New York’s Public Theater in 2022, before its Broadway opening at the Music Box Theater on April 18. Suffs has performances scheduled through Jan. 5, 2025.

Aside from its Tony Award wins, Suffs also scored nominations for best musical, best performance by an actress in a featured role in a musical (Nikki M. James), best costume design of a musical (Paul Tazewell) and best direction of a musical (Leigh Silverman).

The Suffs cast recording debuted, and initially peaked, at No. 2 on the Cast Albums chart dated June 15, following its release as a digital download album. A CD release followed on Sept 27. Suffs will see a vinyl release on Nov. 8, as a three-LP set on orchid-colored vinyl.
