Jon Pardi to Headline NHL Winter Classic Celebration Barnburner

Country fans can celebrate the end of 2024 with Jon Pardi!

NHL and TNT are set to host Barnburner, a hockey-focused fan experience on Dec. 31 in celebration of the 2025 Discover NHL Winter Classic, with Pardi as the headliner.

The event, which takes place around Chicago’s Wrigley Field, will take place from noon to 7:30 p.m. CT, will feature Pardi on the SAP stage. The event celebrating the outdoor matchup between the hometown Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues will also host a variety of hockey-themed activities. The studio show – featuring Wayne Gretzky, Paul Bissonnette, Anson Carter, and Liam McHugh – will include pregame coverage live on-site at Barnburner starting at 3 p.m. and will return for postgame coverage from the venue.

Earlier this month, Pardi announced his 2025 Honkytonk Hollywood Tour, with the 16-date trek launching April 25 in Lubbock, Texas. The trek will visit arenas and amphitheaters across the United States and Canada, with support from “Wild As Her” hitmaker Corey Kent on select dates, and Kassi Ashton.

Pardi released his most recent album, Mr. Saturday Night, in 2023, but since then he’s released the Luke Bryan collaboration “Cowboys and Plowboys,” as well as “Friday Night Heartbreaker,” which reached No. 34 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart earlier this year.
