Carín León has everybody talking. And as we take this month to highlight Black and Latin artists, we are putting the spotlight on the Mexican star. The artist just had a big start to the year as he took home the Grammy Award for Best Música Mexicana Album at the 2025 ceremony. He has been one of the artists at the forefront of the genre’s massive resurgence and just last night, he won big at the 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro and he’s even found time to joke about his rumored sexuality, posting to IG: “I woke up gay three days ago” before going on to say he’s straight, but highlighted how much he loves the LGBTQ community. We’ll keep our eye out on this star as he continues to make us smile.
