Today we caught up with Hefe OG for an exclusive interview.

What is your stage name and how did you come up with it?

Ahh I go by Hefe OG something like I get money or cheese and you have to become an OG about it the name was given to me by no one I came up with it myself

Where are you now?

I’m in Los Angeles, California just making it and deep into this music thing

Who would you say inspired you the most, as an artist?

I’m inspired the most by Jay Z as an artist. He the guy you want to be. That is musically and business wise.

Where and how do you work best?

I work best under pressure mentally I’m the man I just have to have the right setting and vibe.

What is still your biggest challenge?

Money

Are you religious? If yes, what is your religion?

Yes I practice the Rastafarian religion. I worship Jah.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

The Game or Snoop Dogg

If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be

I would dream and love to open a show for Kendrick Lamar

How do you currently feel about the state of Hip-hop in general?

Since the 1970s Hip Hop has been a major stepping stone for the culture. I love the state Hip Hop is in.

What do you want your legacy to be? How do you want to be remembered?

Living long as possible to make OG status just to say that I seen it all the good the bad and the ugly
