EXCLUSIVE: Pooh Shiesty Trial Pushed Back To 2027 As His Dad & Big30 Get Bond
Published
3 weeks agoon

Pooh Shiesty’s federal trial just got pushed to February 2027, meaning he’ll spend nearly a year locked up before getting his day in court.
Pooh Shiesty is sitting in a federal lockup while his trial date keeps moving further away.
A Dallas federal judge just pushed the trial from July 6, 2026, all the way to February 22, 2027, which means Pooh Shiesty is looking at roughly 11 months behind bars before he even gets to tell his side of the story.
The court certified the case as “complex” after his defense team filed a motion seeking more time to prepare.
The motion was unopposed, and Senior U.S. District Judge David C. Godbey signed off on the amended pretrial order. The final pretrial conference is now set for February 17, 2027, with jury selection beginning the following week. That’s a major calendar flip from where things stood just weeks ago.
While Pooh Shiesty stays locked up at the Kaufman County jail, his co-defendants have been getting better news.
Big30, who is facing the same kidnapping and robbery charges, as reported by FOX 4 Dallas, was granted a $100,000 bond by Texas Judge Ed Kinkeade on June 4.
He’ll serve out his pretrial period under home detention and electronic monitoring. Pooh’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr., also secured his own bond around the same time, reportedly set at $250,000, after a Tennessee judge’s initial ruling survived a government appeal.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, all nine defendants are charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping tied to a January 10 incident at a Dallas recording studio.
The government claims Pooh lured Gucci Mane to the studio under the guise of a contract negotiation, then pulled an AK-style pistol and forced him to sign a release from his 1017 Records deal at gunpoint.
Watches, jewelry, and cash were allegedly taken from Gucci and two other victims, with one victim being choked nearly unconscious. Big30 is accused of barricading the studio door to stop the victims from escaping, and Williams Sr. is accused of helping plan and execute the whole operation.
Pooh Shiesty has pleaded not guilty. His defense has pointed to a lack of physical evidence, while prosecutors counter with surveillance footage and phone records. As AllHipHop previously reported, a federal judge denied Pooh bond in April, ruling prosecutors had established probable cause on the kidnapping charges.
A conviction on all counts could bring a life sentence for each of the nine defendants. Pooh had only been out of federal prison for about six months before the January studio incident, having served more than three years on a prior firearms conspiracy conviction out of Florida.
