Official Tracklisting Of T.I.’s “Kill The King” Leaks

T.I. is forming his next major venture and he’s got illseed wondering which song was produced by Hip-Hop genius Dr. Dre.

T.I. is finally about to drop the album we’ve been hearing about for what feels like forever. It seems like it’s been close to a decade since he first started talking about this project. It has NOT been that long, but it has been several years. Since then, we’ve interviewed Tip numerous times, and every time the conversation eventually found its way back to the album.

Comedy became a major focus. T.I. was hitting stages, working on his standup and admitted that comedy had become his happy place. Music seemed to take a back seat, but it is back in the driver’s seat now. The album wasn’t abandoned, but it definitely felt like it was sitting. I wasn’t entirely convinced his heart was fully in the music at that moment either.

Everything feels different now.

T.I. has been on fire all year. He’s energized, focused and determined to remind people why he has remained one of Hip-Hop’s most respected voices. The King. He spent months releasing visuals, stirring up conversation and and taking on 50 Cent.

Now, Kill The King is finally set to arrive on June 26.

The full tracklist is posted below. I shared it a few days ago, but there were a few details I intentionally left out because I was still putting pieces together. One thing I’m especially curious about is which song features production from Dr. Dre.

If you remember, during one of our more recent conversations with T.I., he revealed that Dre contributed to the project. That was breaking news. In fact, it may be one of the biggest storylines surrounding the entire album. Dr. Dre doesn’t just pop up on projects these days. He’s very selective.

So naturally, I’m interested in hearing what that collaboration sounds like. Dre has spent the last several years focused on business ventures, wellness initiatives and enjoying the fruits of decades of success. Hearing him lock back into album mode alongside T.I. should be dope.

We’re about to see who owns the summer.

Some people will tell you Drake still has a firm grip on the season. And he does. Rick Ross is on the horizon with his orchestral tour. Then there’s T.I.

Rozay and Tip aren’t competing against each other at all. I mean, they are friends and frequent collaborators. Their recent collaboration is proof of that. The chemistry is there and the song is strong enough to make you wonder whether a joint tour could actually happen. Ross already has his orchestra dates lined up, but T.I. hasn’t announced anything major on the touring front yet.

So there is still hope.

For now, all eyes are on Kill The King. After years of waiting, we’re finally about to hear the finished product.
