Papoose and Remy Ma are not in the mix this time. It is because the veteran rapper may be getting ready for fatherhood with Claressa Shields, and he just gave the strongest confirmation yet.

For months, Claressa Shields has openly talked about wanting to have a child with Papoose. Some people brushed it off as wishful thinking or assumed she was simply speaking for herself. Well, that argument just took a major hit.

During a recent interview, Shields casually revealed that she plans to have a baby next year. The interviewer immediately looked toward Papoose, who happened to be nearby, and asked if he knew he was having a baby in 2027. Without hesitation, Pap answered, “Absolutely.”

Shields said the baby conversation actually started with Papoose. He asked her about having children, but they found the sweet spot. She wants to focus on boxing this year before starting a family. She even joked she has “a few more girls ass I want to kick” and then motherhood.

Of course, there is still one enormous elephant standing in the room.

Papoose remains legally married to Remy Ma. While divorce proceedings are reportedly underway there’s been no announcement that everything has been finalized.
