Mic King has teamed with the god of rap Rakim for “Hallelujah,” a collaboration rooted in lyricism, perseverance and appreciation for the culture that shaped both artists.

The new single, produced by and featuring Rakim, pairs soulful production with Mic King’s introspective songwriting. “Hallelujah” focuses on gratitude, resilience and reflects the growth possibilities in Hip-Hop.

For Mc King, the collab represents years spent earning respect as one of Philadelphia’s most accomplished underground emcees. He rose in the early 2000s, built a reputation rooted in sharp lyricism, commanding performances and rap battles.
