Streamer Deen The Great faces felony robbery and misdemeanor battery charges after prosecutors say an alleged dispute aboard a Miami yacht turned physical.
Deen The Great is facing legal trouble that could carry significant consequences after Florida prosecutors charged the popular streamer with felony robbery in connection with an alleged confrontation aboard a yacht in Miami.
The former boxer faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted on felony robbery charges.
Deen, whose legal name is Nurideen Shabazz, was also charged with misdemeanor battery stemming from an alleged incident on May 27 involving a woman, according to court documents.
Authorities say the woman, described as a female acquaintance, contacted police after claiming the two got into a verbal dispute while on a yacht. She alleged the disagreement escalated after other men attempted to speak with her.

According to her account, Shabazz warned her not to entertain conversations with anyone else before ordering her off the vessel. She further alleged that when she attempted to record the interaction on her phone, he grabbed her forearm in an effort to stop her.

The woman told investigators the encounter left a minor scratch on her left forearm.
Miami prosecutors have since filed felony robbery and misdemeanor battery charges against Shabazz. Additional details surrounding the robbery allegation, including what property was allegedly taken, were not immediately available based on the information released.
Shabazz has built a substantial online following through livestreaming and social media, where he is known as Deen The Great. He also frequently connects with former boxer Adrien Broner.
The charges now place the internet personality at the center of a criminal case that could have major legal ramifications if prosecutors secure a conviction.
As of now, Shabazz has not responded to the allegations.
