Charleston White Posts Bond Following Collin County Weapon Arrest
Published
3 weeks agoon
Charleston White leaves a Texas jail after authorities book him on weapon, marijuana and driver’s license allegations.
Charleston White landed in a Texas jail Monday, carrying three misdemeanor allegations and another mugshot for his growing archive.
The internet personality was arrested August 10 after authorities accused him of unlawfully carrying a weapon, possessing marijuana and driving without a license.
The booking page identifies him by his legal name, Charleston Jomone White, and lists his arrest in Collin County.
The weapon and marijuana offenses were recorded as “on view,” which generally means officers allegedly observed evidence supporting those arrests.

The driver’s license allegation was tied to a warrant, suggesting authorities discovered an unresolved matter while processing White into custody.
The Collin County Sheriff’s Office says its searchable roster covers current prisoners and people released during the previous 24 hours.
Records circulated after the booking showed $5,000 bond for the weapon allegation and $3,000 bond for the marijuana allegation.
White was later released from county custody, although publicly available booking material did not explain what initially brought officers into contact with him.
The allegations are not convictions, and no detailed police report describing the weapon, marijuana or traffic stop was available Tuesday morning.
The arrest immediately carried an ironic edge because White built much of his online persona around contacting police and targeting rappers with legal trouble.
He previously claimed responsibility for helping authorities arrest Boosie Badazz’s son, while repeatedly threatening to involve law enforcement in Hip-Hop disputes.
White also threatened Young Thug with arrest after claiming the Atlanta rapper confronted him during a Miami event in March.
His aggressive approach has created enemies across Hip-Hop, but White argues that police cooperation separates him from the street culture he criticizes.
That relationship with law enforcement never protected him from his own bookings, including a highly publicized arrest in Texas in December 2023.
Authorities accused White then of animal cruelty and two aggravated assaults with a deadly weapon before setting his combined bond at $31,000.
A warrant connected to that case returned him to custody in October 2024, nearly 10 months after he had initially posted bond.
White has also spoken openly about spending years in Texas juvenile custody after participating in a robbery that ended with another man’s death.
He later established Helping Young People Excel, an outreach organization focused on steering young people away from gangs and criminal activity.
Court information for White’s latest three misdemeanor cases had not listed an attorney or announced his next appearance by Tuesday morning.
