Cardi B hits the streets of Brooklyn for the flashy, fun video for her hard-hitting single “AH HA.” The one-off that dropped last month as her first new music since last year’s long-awaited sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, is a club banger with hot lyrical shots that are matched by the steamy outfits Cardi shuffles through in the visual.
The late summer heat is alluded to in the very first shot, which features an old man holding up a gigantic newspaper headline reading “¡QUE CALOR!” (“It’s so hot!”), followed by images of a golden string bikini getting aired out on a clothesline by a spinning fan and the thermometer soaring past 100 degrees.
Then comes Cardi strutting down the ave in a skin-tight red, black and white crop top and booty shorts twin set and massive Jesus piece, standing on a stoop rapping, “I just hold up my wrist, I’m like ‘Ah ha,’/ Broke! B–ch, you wish, I’m like, ‘Ah ha’/ I’m on my s–t.”
Her waist-length jet-black hair swinging behind her, Cardi lays into all her haters, male and female, including a line referencing the president, “I’ll give a ho exactly what she want in this b–ch/ Black trucks at the club, look like Trump in this b–ch (f–k him),” she raps.
The action picks up again at the beauty salon, where Cardi and four friends grind and drop it low in their chairs while sitting under dryers with their hair in curlers before the rapper hops on the back of a quad to take ride while dudes on four-wheelers stage a crosswalk takeover. The outfits are increasingly outrageous, including a number featuring knee-high pink leather boots paired with same colored short shorts and a leather bra and long lime green hair.
The temperature really spikes, though, near the midpoint, where Cardi busts out a red, white and blue sling thong bikini — and flame red hair — as she poses on a wheelie-position quad and struts on the street in a thong that leaves little to the imagination. “Let me show off my ‘fit, I’m like ‘ah ha,’” Cardi raps for real as she walks by Kash Doll, who makes a cameo timed to the line “I probably should’ve sent this beat to Kash Doll.”
Does it end with a dance crew doing an impromptu routine in the street at night while getting drenched by a wrenched-open fire hydrant as girls do double-dutch in the background? You know it does.
The video comes after Cardi hit the road for a her first-ever North American arena headlining Little Miss Drama tour earlier this year and came in at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hottest Female Rappers list for the first half of 2026. “AH HA” recently became Cardi’s 30th top 10 hit on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart; the song also hit No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100.
