Tyrese turned to millions of followers Sunday / Monday with an unusually raw message. Now, we like him and care, however we have never felt he was in jeopardy. He says has reached an emotional breaking point and asking for one thing above all else: prayer.

The singer and actor admitted the weight of his personal struggles has left him feeling exhausted, discouraged and close to losing hope. Nooooooooo…bro.

“Stretch your hands out please and pray for me. I really feel discouraged and feel like I’m about to lose my mind,” Tyrese wrote. Now, this is not a game. I hope he has gotten a professional on the case.

We “fans” often see the glamorous side of his life through music, movies and frivolous things. Tyrese said the reality behind the scenes has been far different. And I believe him. According to the man, he has been quietly battling mounting pressure that has affected nearly every area of his life. When we talked to him, he seemed so happy. That’s how life goes…people hide the pain.

“I’ve been overwhelmed, deeply stressed and being pushed to my limits,” he wrote, adding that the strain has impacted him “mentally, emotionally, psychologically and financially.”

Tyrese also reflected on how he has traditionally handled adversity, saying he has spent years masking his pain instead of showing it publicly.

“I have an extremely high tolerance for pain,” he wrote. “Most of the time, I smile my way through whatever I’m carrying… But right now, I’m empty. I’m depleted. My soul is tired.”

He’s simply asking people to keep him in their prayers.

He made it clear he was not seeking financial assistance.

“I don’t need money,” Tyrese explained, instead asking for “prayer, covering, love, positive energy and genuine support.”

He’s lucky to be a celebrity, because people like me suffer with ot the comments.

Thousands of messages poured into his comments and Tyrese will be ok. I am sure, but I do hope he gets help.
