My stage name is Taylor Made Da Prince and I came up with Da Prince from “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” being my favorite show and Taylor Made come from a OG in my hood named Chris Boyd who couldn’t say my government name.

I started making music in summer of 2004 recording but writing and doing music for fun was around 1999.
Who would you say inspired you the most, as an artist?
I would say who inspired me most as a artist is my favorite rapper, Ja Rule..my favorite song ever is “Put It On Me” and he the reason im a love rapper. Im finishing what he started.
Talk me through your creative process.
My creative process is really listening to the instrumental and taking shots and getting in my feelings then I just get on the mic and it all comes together. I do 80 percent freestyling on my records.
Do you remember the first rhyme you wrote?
The first rhymes I wrote was about my childhood crush who never gave me a chance till this day and I ended up dating her cousin at one point..life’s funny I guess.
Have you heard the theory that some musicians write their best music while they’re depressed or going through a bad time?
I made my best music during the times my sister was killed and my cousins died back to back..don’t really wanna go into details because it gets me sad all over again.
What is still your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge is having real talent and lyrics in the worst era of hip hop era and having to find success and fans from a mature crowd because I refuse to dumb down my sound to fit in.
What’s the best advice you ever received?
The best advice I ever received was to cater to who supports me and kill off the haters with success because they are my biggest fans in denial.
What’s your latest release?
My latest release is a neo soul record “Coffee Shop” about running into my love from the past and we both going through failed marriages and decided to catch up over a cup of coffee and rekindle old flames.
What is your favorite song to perform?
My favorite song to perform is my billboard hit “Smile” featuring legendary soul singer Rachelle Ferrell..it’s just perfect and can’t from the heart.
