Just a few days after Donald Trump shared his contempt for pop superstar Taylor Swift, internet comedian Randy Rainbow is taking his opportunity to kill two birds with one stone — mock the former president and promote his new projects.

In a post to X on Tuesday (Sept. 17), Rainbow shared fake screenshots of posts from Trump’s Truth Social account, where the comedian claimed the former president directed his ire toward him. “I HATE RANDY RAINBOW,” one faux post read, “AND WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE BUYING TICKETS TO HIS CONCERTS IN PALM DESERT ON OCTOBER 11 & 12 LINK IN BIO!!!” Another screenshot followed the same format, this time claiming the former president proclaimed he would not “BE PRE-ORDERING HIS NEW BOOK LOW-HANGING FRUIT AVAILABLE 10/8 WHEREVER BOOKS ARE SOLD LINK IN BIO!!!”
Adding a comment to his handiwork, Rainbow reacted to the spoofed images. “wow,” he wrote. “harsh.”
The promotional post came two days after the twice-impeached former president shared a message stating “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” on his Truth Social account, reacting to the “Fortnight” singer’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris’ bid for the presidency. In the days following Swift’s endorsement, more than 300,000 people visited Vote.gov, which Swift shared, asking fans to register to vote in the November election.
Rainbow, meanwhile, is no stranger to taking jabs at Trump and his allies. His latest song parody took aim at the former president’s running mate JD Vance, using the music of “Sadie, Sadie” from the Broadway hit Funny Girl to lampoon the Ohio senator. At the outset of his parody, Rainbow introduced Vance as a “former never Trump-er turned Trump a– licker, misogynistic bestselling author slash worst-selling VP pick ever, certifiable weirdo and catless child person.”
