Secretary Of State Marco Rubio Spins DJ Set As War With Iran Rages

Marco Rubio DJs a wedding while defending Iran bombing with Public Enemy lyrics, sparking debate over priorities during wartime.

Marco Rubio just proved he’s got two completely different jobs and he’s juggling them like he’s some kind of expert tuntablist.

The Secretary of State was caught on video behind the decks at a family wedding Saturday night, fist-pumping as the beat dropped, while the nation is engaged in an active war with Iran.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino posted the footage on X, hyping up the moment with “Our Great Secretary of State Marco Rubio DJs weddings too,” and the internet immediately started asking the obvious question: who’s running foreign policy right now?

This is the same guy who quoted Public Enemy’s “Welcome to the Terrordome” during a Trump Cabinet meeting to defend bombing Iran, saying the military was letting “the drummer get wicked over every portion of Iran that has military capabilities.”

Rubio’s been slipping Hip-Hop bars into political statements for years, dropping Biggie references about Nicolas Maduro and geeking out over Afrika Bambaataa in interviews.

He has been open about his West Coast Hip-Hop preferences for years, calling Tupac’s All Eyez On Me one of the greatest rap albums ever made and discussing extensively how transformative Public Enemy was in the mid-80s.

But there’s a massive gap between loving the culture and actually understanding what it stands for, especially when you’re using it to justify military strikes.

Rubio’s been called the “Secretary of Everything” online because he’s juggling so many roles in Trump’s administration, and apparently, DJ is just another hat he’s throwing on the pile.

He’s positioned as Trump’s possible successor in 2028, sitting at 17 percent in recent polling and solidifying his spot as the clear number two behind VP JD Vance.

Liberal critics immediately called out the priorities, pointing out that the US is spending $2 billion a day on the Iran conflict while he’s partying.
