Soulja Boy & Blueface Share Unwanted Legal Bond Over Royalty Seizure Attempts

Soulja Boy’s ex-girlfriend is moving to sell his music residuals to collect on a $4 million judgment, mirroring Blueface’s recent royalty seizure to Soulja’s baby mama.
Soulja Boy is facing a new financial reckoning as his ex-girlfriend moves to liquidate his music residuals to collect on a nearly $4 million judgment against him.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the woman who initially worked as his personal assistant and later became romantically involved with the rapper has filed notice to sell his Broadcast Music residuals to the highest bidder.
The filing comes after a jury trial concluded in April 2025 where the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe in court records, won a decisive victory.
The jury found Soulja Boy liable for sexual battery, infliction of emotional distress, and other claims stemming from their two-year relationship.
During the trial, Jane Doe testified that the relationship turned violent, claiming Soulja Boy locked her in a room without food for extended periods.
Soulja Boy’s legal team disputed the verdict, with his attorney stating that “the evidence does not support the verdict,” but the jury sided with the plaintiff regardless.
Now comes the irony that defines this moment.
Blueface’s music royalties are currently being redirected to Jackilyn Martinez, Soulja Boy’s baby mama, after a judge ordered him to pay over $123,000 in a defamation judgment.
Blueface made false claims on social media suggesting he’d been intimate with Martinez, and the courts made him answer for it through his streaming checks.
The parallel is striking.
Both rappers are losing their royalties to women connected to Soulja Boy, but the circumstances couldn’t be more different.
Where Blueface faced consequences for defamation, Soulja Boy now confronts allegations of far more serious misconduct.
The sale of his residuals represents a concrete enforcement mechanism for a judgment his legal team continues to contest.
The sale will proceed unless Soulja Boy successfully objects in court, leaving him with limited options to prevent the liquidation of his music income stream.
Despite being rivals in the industry, Blueface and Soulja Boy now share an unwanted commonality: both are watching their music earnings get redirected to settle legal debts.
