Boosie Says He’s Been Drug Free On Probation, Says Tests Show He’s Been Crystal Clean

Boosie Badazz fires back at feds seeking 18 months prison time, saying his drug tests are clean and travel was approved.

Boosie Badazz is pushing back hard against federal probation supervisors who want him back behind bars, saying his drug tests have been clean and his travel to Houston was approved all along.

The feds filed a petition on June 24 claiming Boosie violated three conditions of his supervised release stemming from his January 2026 federal gun conviction, where Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo gave him a break and sentenced him to time served, three years of supervision, and 300 hours of community service instead of the prison time prosecutors were seeking.

Now that same judge has been asked to revoke that leniency entirely and send him away for 18 months.

The violations they’re citing include performing as a headliner at Houston’s Dome Nightclub without court approval, traveling to Texas without permission, and a positive marijuana test from back in January.

They want that 18 months to run back-to-back with whatever sentence he gets in the separate Texas assault case.

The backdrop to all of this is what happened at that Houston nightclub on May 24, when Boosie was accused of cracking a security guard in the head with a broken glass hookah base, leaving the man with a wound serious enough to need eight staples.

A second security guard witnessed it firsthand. Boosie left before police arrived, a warrant was issued, and he showed up in court in early June and secured an $85,000 bond, with his Texas trial set for September 2026.

Boosie isn’t taking the federal accusations quietly.

He went straight to social media with a statement addressed directly to his situation.

“N yes I had marijuana n my system when I got on paper. Every test after that shows that I’m drug free,” he wrote. “I get tested all the time n I’m always crystal clean. IM NOT STUPID.”

He also addressed the travel issue, saying his probation officer located an email approving the Houston trip that had initially been overlooked.

He said he’s performed at more than 50 shows on supervision and has always followed proper procedures.

“MY probation officer has been fair to me throughout this process,” he said. “it’s the people over him who have problems with me. They asked him to ask me would I sign a piece of paper saying can he record our conversations n I said HELL NO.”

He added that he’s completed several hours of community service and that his attorneys are working to get the Texas case dismissed.

The U.S. Probation Office stated Boosie has “failed to capitalize on the opportunity afforded by the court,” with the filing describing a pattern of behavior that showed “disregard for the court’s authority.”

Judge Bencivengo declined to issue a bench warrant but has summoned Boosie to appear at a hearing scheduled for July 10, 2026.
