For his final bow, T.I. adds another top 10 album to his ledger as his Kill the King album debuts at No. 10 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart dated July 11 — his 13th top 10 on the tally. The set, released on Grand Hustle/EMPIRE, earned 22,000 equivalent album units in the United States for the tracking week of June 26-July 2, according to Luminate.
Kill the King marks T.I.’s final studio album, according to the rapper, who had been teasing the finale’s title for nearly a decade. The album’s title refers to one of the Atlanta hitmakers’ nicknames, King of the South.
