Rising Georgia Rapper Busted For Homicide After Club Performance

Lil Toonk’s arrested on a homicide warrant while performing at a Georgia club, facing six counts of felony murder and other serious charges.

Rising rapper Lil Toonk got arrested Saturday night in Lamar County on a Fulton County homicide warrant after performing at a club.

The Georgia rapper, whose real name is Tavorian Lindsey, was taken into custody without incident on Crawford Road near Club Rendezvous after his set.

Deputies from the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office coordinated with Fulton County authorities to track him down and bring him in.

The arrest came as part of a targeted operation that recovered multiple firearms at the scene, including rifles and handguns, along with other evidence.

Lil Toonk is now being held at the Fulton County Jail facing serious charges stemming from a May 2024 incident.

According to the jail records, he’s charged with six counts of felony murder, two counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony, and four counts of aggravated assault.

That’s a heavy load of charges.

Lamar County Sheriff Brad White praised the teamwork between agencies in a statement about the arrest.

“The successful apprehension of this homicide suspect is a direct result of the strong partnership between our agencies and the dedication of the men and women who serve our communities every day,” White said. “We are proud to assist our law enforcement partners in bringing violent offenders into custody safely.”

The specifics of the May 2024 homicide case haven’t been fully disclosed by authorities, and details about the victim remain unclear at this time.

FOX 5 Atlanta reported that Lil Toonk is currently awaiting further legal proceedings in the Fulton County system. Lindsey’s next court appearance will determine what happens next in the case.
