Is 38 Spesh Going To Diss Jadakiss, Jim Jones & Fat Joe At Summer Jam?

Summer Jam and a midnight release have us wondering whether 38 Spesh is about to put Jadakiss, Fat Joe and Jim Jones in check with “Fools Mate.”

38 Spesh may have picked the perfect time to make his next move. The perfect time also means the most possibly explosive time. I am wondering what is going on.

The Rochester MC is teasing a new record called “Fools Mate,” complete with chess themed visuals. He says the track arrives at midnight.

Now, this release lands on the same night as Summer Jam, where Jadakiss, Fat Joe and Jim Jones are all expected to be in the building. Uh, French Montana, Max B, Fetty Wap, DaBaby, Conway the Machine and 38 Spesh! All gonna be there. All performing.

Nobody knows exactly what is on “Fools Mate,” but most people believe 38 Spesh is about to unload on all three New York veterans. Not just Kiss. If that happens, things could get interesting very quickly. One person even predicted, “He won’t make it out without some kind of altercation.” That is pure speculation, of course, but the temperature has definitely been rising.

Jada has already offered a cryptic reply that bounces off what Fat Joe has already said. “I pray you have a SAFE day today,” he wrote. “Don’t run into the militia or any landmines.” Oh boy.

This whole saga started when 38 Spesh appeared on BagFuel and claimed he out-rapped Jadakiss on Benny the Butcher’s “Sunday School.” Spesh feels Jadakiss has avoided working with him ever since because he does not want to get outshined again. Spesh repeatedly challenged Kiss to “come outside” and settle it on wax.

Jadakiss did not ignore the comments. Eventually, he answered with bars. He later appeared on Fat Joe’s “Aroma” and delivered a line many took as a direct response: “I’ve been obliterating n***as for years… is this about a verse or is this about a career?”

Spesh has not backed down.

He is willing to challenge anybody, regardless of reputation or industry politics. Yikes. Now, with “Fools Mate” possibly dropping on Summer Jam night, we are wondering if the title itself is a warning. In chess, Fool’s Mate is the quickest possible checkmate. I did not know that. Now, it makes more sense.

Does this stay on the microphone. Fat Joe has already publicly warned Spesh. Jim Jones has warned Spesh with his “young boy” that looks 45. Healthy competition is good, but can turn unhealthy fast. Nobody wants to see that energy spill beyond the music.

The chess game is about to enter its next move.
