Kodak Black Arrest Video Spills On To The Internet

Kodak Black’s May arrest unfolds on video as he surrenders to Broward County police amid mounting legal troubles in Florida.
Kodak Black keeps finding himself in situations where the cameras roll and the charges stack up faster than his album releases ever could.
A 15-minute video surfaced showing his May arrest, where he surrendered to authorities in Broward County, stepping out of an SUV before officers conducted a pat-down and placed him in handcuffs.
The footage captures the moment his legal troubles became visual evidence, another chapter in what’s become a recurring pattern of law enforcement encounters.
The arrest connects to a February 27 incident where Kodak had been ordered to stop by police but continued fleeing from deputies anyway.

According to the warrant, he also obstructed an officer during the lawful execution of their duties.
His bond was set at $75,000 for the drug trafficking charge, and he’s been released pending trial on the fleeing charges.
In July 2026, an Orange County judge released Kodak from all bail requirements after prosecutors missed their 60-day deadline to file formal charges on the MDMA trafficking allegation.
The video evidence from his May surrender will likely play a significant role in how prosecutors build their case against him.
His attorney, Bradford Cohen, has been vocal about what he sees as a pattern, stating that the investigation took 5 months before charges were filed.
Cohen emphasized the pattern he’s observed, saying, “It’s not unexpected, as this is usually the procedure we go through where there is an unfounded weak arrest and then followed up by yet another arrest for cases that allegedly take five or six months to investigate.”
The timing of these charges coincided with separate drug allegations that emerged around the same period.
Police claimed they discovered MDMA in his vehicle during a traffic stop, leading to drug trafficking charges.
Kodak pleaded not guilty to those accusations, with his legal team arguing he was being unfairly targeted.
The rapper’s history with law enforcement has consistently overshadowed his music career, with each arrest generating more headlines than his recent releases.
