38 Spesh has escalated his feud with Jim Jones, Jadakiss, and Fat Joe by pairing his latest diss with a bold visual campaign that may leave New York’s rap veterans with no choice but to respond.
If you thought 38 Spesh was backing down from his beef with Jim Jones, Jadakiss, and Fat Joe, you were mistaken.
I honestly thought things might cool off after “Fool’s Mate,” but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Instead, the Upstate New York rapper has taken his disrespect for some of New York City’s biggest rap legends to another level. The latest visuals crank everything up. He employs comedians, AI, and other Rochester personalities to mock his opponents in a way that’s impossible to ignore. What started as what many dismissed as a casual comment during an interview has now evolved into a full-blown rap war.
You really have to see the video to understand why people are talking. In fact, he probably should have led with the visual because it’s far more impactful than the original diss record on its own. The imagery adds another layer to the insults and makes the entire rollout feel much more calculated. Summer Jam was clearly just the opening chapter of what appears to be an escalating campaign.

I didn’t think I’d be invested in this feud, but the visuals changed that. The combination of humor, AI, and unapologetic disrespect makes this feel like more than just another diss track. It’s becoming a full-scale battle for credibility.
What’s most surprising is that none of the tactics used by Jim Jones, Jadakiss, or Fat Joe seemed to discourage 38 Spesh from continuing. If anything, they’ve only motivated him to double down. Now the ball is in their court.
If these veterans – the GOATS we love – truly consider themselves among New York’s greatest, it feels like some kind of response is necessary. Had Spesh stopped with the song on Friday night, they might have been able to ignore it. But after releasing these visuals, staying silent becomes much more difficult. This level of disrespect rarely goes unanswered in Hip-Hop. If they let it slide, it could invite even more challenges down the road.
Only time will tell whether one of New York’s heavyweights decides to respond, but one thing is certain: 38 Spesh doesn’t appear interested in backing down.
What do you think? Has 38 Spesh done enough to demand a response, or should the veterans continue to ignore him? Let us know in the comments.
