Usher’s shady situation with a fan has not stopped as she seems to be an educated woman, per the rumors emerging.
Gabrielle Cheyenne is now internet famous.
We have to put some respect on her name, because she rejected the King of R&B. How did an Usher concert to turn into one of the internet’s biggest debates of the internet? Here we are. Here is the matter in question.
If you’ve been anywhere near social media, you’ve seen the clip. Yes, I am late. Here is the run down.

During Usher’s now famous “Can You Handle It” segment, Gabrielle Cheyenne, who was completely unknown at the time, was invited on stage in Nashville. Instead of melting into the moment like many previous participants, she was noticeably reserved, almost annoyed. Usher, on the other hand, did exactly what we have come to expect from that portion of the concert. Grind-n-wine. People questioned why she accepted the invitation in the first place.
The internet quickly split into opposing camps. One side argued that she did not owe anybody a performance and shouldn’t be expected to react a certain way simply because cameras were rolling. Others countered that the routine has been part of Usher’s concerts for quite some time, making it hard to claim surprise over the close interaction. They argued that concerns about sweat, personal space or the flirtatious nature of the segment were well known before she ever stepped on stage.
Then there were the people like me: laughing! I loved it. I was wondering if she set him up? Was she a plant from Mario, who slipped the other day. Remember, Usher poured liquor on the stage: doing too much again. And his compadre fell.
Back to the drama.
Now Gabrielle has said something. The Nashville nurse and self described “boy mom” says people simply are not used to seeing someone react differently. She insists almost nobody would have turned down the chance to get on stage and admits she accepted because she was selected thanks to what she called her “pretty privileges.” She wanted the opportunity to appear on the giant screen during the show. I am not mad at her. Her son is probably happy and filled with pride.
Gabrielle blasted critics as “hating h**s” – LOL! Her tats tell a story too. But she says there’s been a lot of bullying. She also shared a photo with Usher’s wife from the concert, perhaps to show there was no bad blood behind the scenes.
One thing is undeniable. Gabrielle admitted she wanted attention. Mission accomplished. Whether she became the night’s unexpected villain or simply the latest victim of internet overanalysis depends entirely on which side of the timeline you’re scrolling.
