Sidney Starr remains jailed in protected housing as new police details reveal an unexpected discovery during her hotel arrest.

Sidney Starr’s arrest took a bizarre turn when an open condom reportedly tumbled from her pocket as officers searched her.

The odd discovery came after Hapeville police detained the reality personality Sunday at an Embassy Suites near Atlanta’s airport.

A new arrest update says officers removed Starr’s cellphone during a search before the unexpected item appeared.

“When they removed her cell phone, they said ‘an open condom fell from the same pocket,’ while another condom was also found,” police records reportedly state.

The second condom was still packaged, according to reports, and officers included both items with the property collected during Starr’s detention.

Police had reached Starr while she was leaving her hotel room after an employee reported a possible sexual assault involving a juvenile.

Starr, whose legal name is Sidney Favors, allegedly told officers that a tall teenager approached her and called her “cute.”

“She said while she was in the lobby, a tall, slender, black male wearing a white t-shirt, approached her and said she was ‘cute,’” the report states.

Starr claimed she asked his age before any alleged sexual contact occurred, according to details released from the police report.

“She said the man responded ‘18,’” the report states, although authorities later identified the person as a juvenile.

The teen reportedly suffered an anxiety attack after speaking with police and later underwent an examination and DNA testing at a hospital.

Starr remains without bond inside Fulton County Jail, where officials reportedly placed her in housing designed for detainees considered especially vulnerable.

The separate section houses vulnerable LGBTQ detainees and reportedly keeps Starr apart from the jail’s general population for her safety as a transgender woman.

That classification concerns security inside the facility and does not change her charges or suggest officials reached any conclusion about guilt.

Starr faces aggravated child molestation, sodomy and sexual battery against a child under 16, according to jail records reviewed by Atlanta News First.

Arrest warrants allege she performed oral sex on a boy inside the hotel and later described the contact as consensual to investigators.

However, AllHipHop reported that Starr issued a firm denial while promising to contest every allegation through the court system.

Starr “unequivocally denies the allegations against her and intends to vigorously defend herself through the legal process,” her statement said.

“Allegations should not be mistaken for fact, and public opinion should never replace due process,” Starr added while requesting privacy during the case.

Starr’s next court appearance is scheduled for August 25 in Fulton County Superior Court, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
