Swae Lee Announces 2027 Australian Same Difference Tour

Swae Lee is heading back to Australia. The rapper and singer has announced a five-date national tour for January 2027 in support of his debut solo album, Same Difference.
The Australian run opens Jan. 6 at Melbourne’s Forum before heading to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Jan. 8 and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Jan. 10. Shows at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall and Perth’s Metro City follow on Jan. 12 and Jan. 13, respectively.
Presented by Live Nation, the dates follow a run of European shows throughout late 2026 and arrive after the release of Same Difference, Swae Lee’s first full-length solo studio album, feauturing Post Malone, Jhené Aiko and French Montana among its collaborators.
The album marks a significant solo milestone for an artist whose voice has been attached to some of the biggest crossover records of the past decade. Swae Lee first rose to prominence alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi in Rae Sremmurd, with the duo scoring their first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 in 2016 when “Black Beatles,” featuring Gucci Mane, spent seven weeks atop the chart.
His success continued outside the duo. French Montana’s “Unforgettable,” featuring Swae Lee, reached No. 3 on the Hot 100 in 2017, becoming Swae Lee’s first top 10 as a solo artist.
A year later, he teamed with Post Malone for “Sunflower” from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The song reached No. 1 on the Hot 100 in January 2019, giving Swae Lee his first chart-topper as a solo artist. It ultimately spent 33 weeks in the top 10, becoming one of the most enduring hits of its era.
Swae Lee also has a songwriting credit on Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode,” which topped the Hot 100 in December 2018. Those collaborations helped establish him as one of hip-hop’s most recognizable melodic voices even before the arrival of his first solo LP.
The Live Nation presale begins Thursday, Oct. 22, at 9 a.m. AEDT, with general tickets going on sale Friday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m. AEDT.
