Rod Wave launches his Don’t Look Down Tour this fall while battling a $27 million lawsuit over his canceled Last Lap dates.
Rod Wave is bringing his biggest arena run to life this fall, and the 25-city North American trek is already shaping up to be one of Hip-Hop’s most anticipated touring events of 2026.
The Grammy-nominated artist from St. Petersburg, Florida, just locked in dates for the “Don’t Look Down Tour,” which kicks off September 12 in Philadelphia and wraps November 18 in Atlanta, hitting major markets across the country in between.
The tour’s timing is strategic because Rod Wave’s seventh studio album, also titled Don’t Look Down, drops August 28, giving him just two weeks to let the project breathe before hitting the road.
The tour will feature special guest Fridayy alongside Rod Wave’s catalog of hits and new material.
Mainstay Touring is producing the entire operation, and venues range from the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philly to the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, with stops in Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Brooklyn, and New Orleans.
Presale registration opens June 24 and closes June 25 at noon, giving early supporters a shot at premium seating before the general public gets access on June 26 at 1 P.M. local time.
Rod Wave’s last album, Last Lap, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 in 2024, so demand is expected to be heavy.
That success proved he could still connect with fans even as he dealt with serious behind-the-scenes chaos that nearly derailed his entire touring operation.
Grizzly Touring sued Rod Wave for $27 million in October 2025 over canceled tour dates from his Last Lap run, claiming he breached their agreement by pulling the plug on shows.
Rod fired back with his own countersuit, arguing that production failures and routing issues made it logistically impossible to continue the tour as originally planned.
Out of 35 scheduled shows, only 12 actually took place at the announced venues and dates, and Rod canceled the remaining dates in January 2025.
Rod maintains he’s entitled to keep the $27 million advance he received from the promoter because Grizzly failed to deliver on their end of the deal.
While that lawsuit plays out in court, Rod Wave isn’t waiting around. The “Don’t Look Down Tour” represents his chance to rebuild trust with fans who got burned by the Last Lap cancellations and prove he can deliver on his promises this time around.
Rod Wave’s comeback is officially underway, and this new tour will determine whether he can actually pull it off without another disaster.
