Lance Rivera tells Damon Dash that Charli Baltimore has every right to sue him for spreading unproven rumors about her past.
Lance “Un” Rivera is calling out Damon Dash for spreading unsubstantiated rumors about Charli Baltimore, and he’s making it clear that the woman at the center of this mess has legal grounds to take action.
During a recent interview with The Art Of Dialogue, Rivera didn’t hold back when discussing how Dash has been publicly claiming that both he and Jay-Z were involved with Baltimore, who was Biggie’s girlfriend at the time of his death.
Rivera emphasized that Dash is operating without facts, just speculation and hearsay that’s been recycled for years.
“There’s no truth or any facts to anything that he’s saying. It’s all rumor based and speculative,” Rivera stated directly.
He went on to highlight the real victim in this narrative, pointing out that Baltimore herself bears the brunt of these allegations.
“The woman is the one that’s more affected by it. You know what I’m saying? So he needs to be careful because you know there’s some liable stuff that he can box himself into,” Rivera explained, emphasizing that Dash should have concrete evidence before making such public statements.
When pressed about whether Baltimore has legitimate grounds for legal action, Rivera was unambiguous.
“I think she she has a right to sue you if you ask me,” he said, addressing Dash directly.
Rivera noted that while people often hide behind terms like “allegedly” and invoke freedom of speech, those shields don’t protect you from defamation claims when you’re spreading lies without basis.
The backdrop to all this is the infamous 1999 stabbing incident at the Kit Kat Club between Jay-Z and Rivera, which Dash has repeatedly used as a launching point for his claims about Baltimore.
Rivera made it clear that Dash’s constant revival of these rumors serves a specific purpose: marketing and promotion for Jay-Z’s brand.
Rivera himself has been used repeatedly in this capacity, and he’s tired of being the punchline in someone else’s business strategy.
The real issue, though, isn’t about the men involved in this decades-old drama. It’s about how a woman’s reputation gets dragged through the mud based on gossip and speculation that nobody can actually prove.
Cam’ron previously confirmed the Charli Baltimore angle in past interviews, lending credibility to the narrative circulating.
However, Rivera’s point stands: there’s a difference between acknowledging what people have said and presenting unproven claims as fact.
Charli Baltimore has remained largely silent on the matter, but Rivera’s suggestion that she has legal recourse could signal a shift in how these old Hip-Hop narratives get handled moving forward.
