Could Nas & Jay-Z Be Up To Something Epic?

Rumors are flying that Nas could join Jay-Z at Yankee Stadium, and one legendary collaboration has fans dreaming big.

Jay-Z has the entire Hip-Hop world on edge! And now Nas is in the mix.

As the countdown to Jay-Z’s three-night Yankee Stadium takeover reaches its final hours, every little move is being dissected. The latest came when Nas shared a playlist of his favorite Jay-Z songs. On the surface, it was cool, but the rumor mill kicked into overdrive. Put it in the 5th gear!

Jay-Z and Nas authored arguably the greatest rivalry Hip-Hop has ever witnessed. Yes, Drake and Kendrick Lamar gave this generation a real scrap, but Hov and Esco built a blueprint for lyrical warfare. You truly had to be there. They pushed each other to another level before finding peace and mutual respect. YEP! That happened in Hip-Hop. It was never meant to be eternal beef!

The word floating around is that Nas could make a surprise appearance during Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium run, with “Black Republican.” That was their first song in peace.

Personally, I hope this happens.

Imagine hearing those opening notes echo through Yankee Stadium as two Queensbridge and Brooklyn icons stand side by side in the BX!

That would be CRAZZZZZZY!

Very little has leaked. Honestly, nothing has leaked. About the only detail circulating with any consistency is that each night is expected to celebrate a different Jay-Z album. If that’s true, fans are in for something special.

For me, Blueprint night would have been the one. Unfortunately, those tickets sold out, and the resale prices entered another tax bracket. Sometimes you have to admire greatness from afar.
