Rapper Giggs Unlocking Potential In Neurodivergent Students With New School

Giggs is building a school for neurodivergent kids in Kent, turning his own struggles into support for the next generation.
Giggs is building something most people only dream about.
A whole school designed specifically for neurodivergent kids, built by someone who knows exactly what it’s like to be left behind by the system.
The UK rapper partnered with OMG Foundation to create St James House in Gravesend, Kent, and he’s not waiting around to make it happen.
The assessment center opens this September, with the full school launching in January 2027.
Here’s what makes this different. Giggs didn’t get the support he needed.
He was autistic in school, but nobody caught it, so he got in trouble constantly, got kicked out of class every single day, and eventually convinced himself he was just bad at everything.
That mindset followed him straight into prison, twice. Now he’s got autistic kids of his own, and he’s determined to build the place he never had.
“Being autistic myself, I know we all got superpowers,” he said. “I want to get the greatest minds who understand how to unlock the greatest potential.”
The school will serve students aged 11 to 18 who are currently excluded from mainstream education.
According to ITV News, the facility will include classrooms, studios, a gym, and quiet spaces for kids who need to regulate after a hectic day.
Giggs wants to hire teachers who actually understand how autistic and ADHD minds work, not people just going through the motions.
He’s talking about producing “the greatest accountant ever or the man who builds the next spaceship.” This isn’t just a school. It’s a launchpad.
The fundraising goal is $1.2 million to cover refurbishment and operational costs. And the support’s already rolling in.
Damien Hirst sent paintings for auction. Robbie Williams said he wants to be involved. Stephen Fry donated signed books. Ed Sheeran is building studios in schools across the country and might collaborate.
This isn’t some celebrity vanity project either. Giggs is putting his own money where his mouth is, already funding the assessment center build himself.
The first cohort of students will walk through those doors in January 2027, and Giggs will be there to make sure they get everything he never did.
