Soulja Boy’s DNA Test Request Could Complicate Blueface Lawsuit

Soulja Boy’s asking a judge for a DNA test before he pays a dime in child support to his ex.

Soulja Boy just told a judge he’s not even sure a three-year-old kid is his biological child, and he’s asking for a DNA test to settle the whole thing.

The rapper filed his response to Jackilyn Martinez’s child support lawsuit, and instead of stepping up, he’s basically saying prove it first.

He did agree to split the costs of both the pregnancy and the legal battle if the test comes back confirming he’s the father, but that’s about as far as his cooperation goes.

Martinez originally sued him back in late 2025, asking the court to award her custody of their son KeAndre Cortez Way and requesting child support payments.

In her filing, she claimed Soulja sometimes sent her money, but only after she literally begged him to do so.

She even included an email according to TMZ where he allegedly told her legal team to stop contacting him, using profanity and dismissing any possibility of settlement.

The real context here goes back to a beef that started in late 2023 when Blueface claimed he could beat Soulja in a Verzuz battle.

During their heated online exchange, things escalated when Blueface made wild allegations about Martinez, claiming he’d been intimate with her and even suggesting the child might be his.

Blueface posted on social media telling Soulja to “get a DNA test,” which drew Martinez into a public mess she never asked for. She sued Blueface for defamation in December 2023, seeking ten million dollars in damages.

Martinez won a default judgment against Blueface in April 2025 for $123,243.10, which included $100,000 for pain and suffering, $18,000 in special damages, and attorney fees.

The judgment has since grown to approximately $130,000 with interest, and a judge ordered Blueface’s music royalties from ASCAP and BMI to be seized and redirected to pay her.

This is where things get complicated for Martinez’s case against Soulja.

If the DNA test proves Soulja Boy isn’t the biological father, her entire defamation lawsuit against Blueface could collapse, since the core of her claim was that his false statements damaged her reputation regarding a child that might not even be Soulja’s.

The court is expected to order the DNA test within the next few weeks.
